Program Overview

Adhering to the  positioning of "distinctive, high level and international education"，we are committed to cultivating high-quality applied financial talents with strong sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit, international vision and service attitude. Our department combines academic education with vocational certificate education, professional theoretical teaching with industry experts' lectures, classroom concentrated experiments with practical training, and on-campus simulation practice with off-campus on-the-job practice. 

Upholding a mixed teaching model, teachers use a flipped teaching method to deliver online resources combined with offline lectures to ensure that junior students focus on theoretical foundation courses and senior students learn from industry experts. The curriculum is practice oriented with the focus on developing students' collaboration, decision-making, self-management and problem-solving skills.

There are five specialized laboratories on campus, which are well-equipped and have a 100% attendance rate of laboratory classes. More than 20 off-campus internship bases have been built, covering accounting firms, taxation firms, foreign-funded enterprises, large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, five-star hotels, etc.

Career Prospects

More than 80% of the graduates have been engaged in financial management, accounting, financial management and other related work in enterprises, institutions and government departments. Some of the graduates continued their graduate study in Sichuan University, Australian National University, University of Queensland, Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and other well-known institutions at home and abroad.

1. Accounting

Degree: Bachelor of Management

2. Auditing

Degree: Bachelor of Management

Duration: 4 years, full-time

Core Courses:Auditing, CPA Auditing, Internal Auditing, Accounting, Financial Management, Principles of Management, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Data Analysis and Processing, Practical Training on Big Data Auditing.

Students are equipped with the knowledge and skills of the finance and accounting, including auditing, CPA auditing, internal auditing, and computer auditing.

3.  Financial Management

Degree: Bachelor of Management

Features

Follow the concept of application-oriented talent cultivation and integrate vocational certification education into the talent cultivation program. Students choose to obtain professional certificates such as the title of Junior Accountant and the Financial Digitization Certificate based on their professional orientation, so as to prepare for the CMA and International Financial Manager examinations.

4. Taxation

Degree: Bachelor of Economics

Duration: 4 years, full-time

Core Courses:Tax Law, Tax Economics, Tax Management, International Taxation, Tax Planning, Tax Inspection, Tax Accounting, Financial Digital Application.

Features

Cooperate with Sichuan Certified Tax Agents Association to establish "teaching practice base". The courses could facilitate students to prepare for the Tax Advisor exam. Invite professionals from taxation firms as lecturers of professional (vocational) courses, and select students to join taxation firms for internship.

Students can obtain tax and accountant certificates and easily access to employment.

1. Big Data and Accounting

Follow the concept of application-oriented talent cultivation and integrate vocational certification education into the talent cultivation program. Students choose to obtain professional certifications such as the title of junior accountant, the certificate of digital application of finance, and the certificate of application of information technology of business and finance based on their professional orientation.

Practical training: basic accounting skills training, with hands-on ability to carry out accounting.

Experimentation: Data analysis and processing, financial digital application and business simulation experimental courses are the main focus.Students' financial information application capabilities and business simulation decision-making capabilities will be trained.
