Hong Kong Poly U Visited Yinxing’s New Campus in Yibin

On October 9,2019,a team of experts fromSHTM of Hong Kong Poly U (PolyU) and its teaching hotel(Hotel Icon), including Dean Kaye Chon, Professor Cathy Hsu, Dr. Tony Tse,Ms Jacqui Shi(Program Manager of the Technology and Consulting Company of Hong Kong Poly U), visited Yinxing and its Nanxi Campus in Yibin.

After the visit,the PolyU delegation provided very positive feedback and had productive discussions with Yinxing senior management team. Dean Kaye Chon expressed his strong recognitionwith Yinxing’s concept of building the Nanxi Campusand would like to further cooperate with Yinxing to become a demonstratorof hotel management education in Asia and contribute to the talent cultivation of global hotel industry. After listening to the recommendations of the visit, President Li Ming expressed his gratitude to the PolyU team and highly praised the professionalism and dedication of the team. Afterwards, the participants conductedin-depth discussions on the design concepts and facilities management of teaching hotels, the construction of practical training courses and the training of teaching and research teachers, and exchanged opinions on further exchanges and cooperation.
