Yinxing Attended the International Conference on Tourism and Retail Service Management 2019

From October 27 to 28, 2019, the International Conference on Tourism and Retail Service Management jointlyhosted by the College of Tourism and Service Management of Nankai University, College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management of South Carolina, and the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, was held at the Country Garden Hotel with the theme of “Opportunities and Challenges for Tourism and Retail Services in the New Era” in Tianjin.Dr. Fu Jing, Vice President of Yinxing, Xu Junyi, Acting Director of the Department of Hotel Management (DHM), Jia Rong, Acting Director of the Department of Tourism Management (DTM), and two teachers Zhao Ping, Zhang Qianqian,attended the conference.

Two high-quality research papers of Yinxing representatives were invited to present at the sub-forum, which are entitled “Raising Hotel Staff Retention Rate: Creating a Successful Industry-education Partnership” and “Optimizing Tourism Community Governance from the Production of Culture & Tourism Space—A CaseStudy in Happy Commune, Chengdu”.

Dr. Zhao's paper was awarded as one of the five best papers of the conference. She   happily shared the honors with researchers from tourism and hotel schools of Sun Yat-sen University, Hong Kong Poly U, and the Macao Institute forTourismStudies.

Prof. Carson Lewis Jenkins, Emeritus Professor of University of Strathclyde/Honorary Professor of Naikai University and Fellow of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism presented the award toDr. Zhao Ping.

Yinxing is committed to the development of internationalization, which strongly encourages teachers to actively participate in high-level academic activities at home and abroad, to further enhance Yinxing’s influence and attractiveness. During the meeting, the teachers conducted in-depth and extensive communication with tourism scholars from all over the world, actively promoted the new pattern of foreign exchanges of Yinxing, and accelerated the construction of tourism and hotel specialties.
