On 9 May, Lv Jinjing, Deputy Director of ACESF Southwest Region, visited Gingko College of Hospitality Management in Chengdu, a subsidiary of China Gingko Education Group, as a representative of ACESF for exchanges and negotiations.
It is reported that ACESF is a non-profit organisation initiated and established by the University of Paris Saclay-Versailles, which is committed to coordinating, managing and operating Sino-French educational and cultural projects, focusing on the two major sectors of education, teaching and scientific research, and formulating teaching strategies and expanding scientific research cooperation for colleges, universities and partnerships with qualifications of secondary and higher education institutions.
Earlier this year, Gingko College and the Association discussed cooperation in Sino-French academic exchanges, academic upgrading, vocational training and Sino-French cooperation in running schools, etc. In April, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation, aiming to expand industry-academic-research centred on Sino-French education, further strengthen international cooperation in education, catering and other fields, and jointly cultivate talents with a global outlook and cross-cultural background.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, China Gingko Education Group has expanded its international "circle of friends" by joining hands with the China-France Education Exchange Association. Under the concept of international school management, Gingko College attaches great importance to internationalisation and actively explores new forms of international educational cooperation. With the support of the French Higher Education Department of the French Consulate General in Chengdu and the assistance of the China-France Education Exchange Association, Gingko College actively conducts multi-level exchange programmes.
In 2022, in order to encourage more students to become composite talents with "language + profession", Gingko College will open a small language training centre covering French, Chinese, Japanese and other languages to enhance students' international competitiveness.
In 2023, Mr Pierre-Olivier, Head of the Chengdu Centre of the French Higher Education Agency of the Consulate General of France in Chengdu, visited Gingko College twice to deepen the substantial cooperation and development of Sino-French education.
At present, Gingko College of Hospitality Management has signed an inter-school friendly cooperation agreement with VATEL and ISTEC, and has negotiated cooperation with many French universities in the fields of professional construction, academic qualification upgrading and academic research, to further meet the individual needs of students for further studies.
It is Gingko Education's inevitable choice and way to promote international exchange and cooperation, and develop the space for international school operation, so as to serve the lifelong development of students. China Gingko Education Group has always been committed to establishing partnerships with universities, official education departments and education associations around the world, building a discipline construction-oriented, project-oriented international cooperation mechanism, and continuously improving the level of international schooling.
