In order to provide internship opportunities, expand internship paths, and improve graduate employment quality for the 2022 Graduates, Gingko College of Hospitality Management held the 2022 Graduate Internship Public Recruitment Event on April 14th.
This Public Recruitment Event is a special session for Hotel and Tourism Management, involving more than 750 fresh graduates from the Department of Hotel Management, Tourism Management, and the Foreign Languages Department. To successfully run the Double Election, Gingko College combines the professional characteristics of Hotel and Tourism Management with the features of the multi-disciplinary integration. And it organized this Event carefully, releasing the appointment registration information for public recruitment through multiple channels. On the basis of professional characteristics and the demand for internship positions, Gingko College had carefully reviewed employers` qualifications. Finally, there were 64 tourism hotel industries, including Chengdu Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Chengdu Temple House Hotel, Xiamen Conrad Hotel, Chengdu Sunac Cultural Tourism City, Shanghai Disney, Sichuan Air Travel International Tourism Group Co., Ltd. at this Event. It provides 271 job categories and 1,576 employment needs such as hotel operations, travel consultants, park operations, concierge interns, switchboard interns, human resources interns, catering department interns, guest room interns, tally specialists, lifeguards, etc., striving to provide diversified internship positions for the Juniors.
At this Event, a special "information desk" is set up and a professional career instructor provided graduates with job searching and "pulse-checking" services, guiding students to enter the site in an orderly manner and to understand the information of the intended unit. In addition, the career instructor offered interview skills to the graduates and helped students analyze and choose suitable for one own unit and established the correct workplace values. During the Public Recruitment Event, the College also organized a series of "Excellent Alumni Entering Campus" sharing activities, letting the alumni communicate with graduates face to face to help them establish a correct outlook on employment and career choices.
