Gingko College Helps Yibin City Selection Competition of 2022 Sichuan Star Hotel Staff Service Skills Competition

In order to comprehensively demonstrate the overall image and phased development of Yibin's tourism hotel industry, explore and cultivate excellent talents in tourism hotels, improve the comprehensive quality and service skills of practitioners and promote the development of Yibin's tourism industry, the Yibin City Selection Competition of 2022 Sichuan Star Hotel Practitioner Service Skills Competition was held at Yibin Campus of our college on July 13.

It is understood that the competition was sponsored by Yibin Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and hosted by our university. The competition was divided into four items: Chinese food service, Western food service, room service and reception service, and attracted many players from star-rated hotels in Yibin to participate. After the preliminary selection, 12 contestants finally entered the final. Adhering to the principle of openness, fairness and impartiality, professional teachers from our school were invited to be the judges of the competition. The teams attached great importance to the competition and showed their industry style, presenting a highly professional and well-organized competition, fully demonstrating the good professional style of Yibin's star-rated hotel practitioners.

It is worth mentioning that our school, as the organizer of the competition, attached great importance to the work of organizing the competition and fully adhered to the spirit of "serving the society" during the preparation process. During the competition, our school worked carefully and thoughtfully, and the logistics support was solid and adequate, which was well received by the Yibin Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and the participants.

The fact that the competition was held in our Yibin campus is not only a recognition of the development of the tourism and hotel service industry in Nanxi, but also a recognition of this application-oriented university as a national first-class hotel management undergraduate professional construction site. After this competition, the service quality of the city's tourist hotels will be improved to a higher level under the leadership of "craftsmanship". At the same time, this competition also highlights our university's role as a university think tank in promoting regional economic and social development and local industry service skills development.
