The Walking Classroom:

On June 29th, the teaching team of the Department of Information Engineering led 25 students to Nanxi District, Yibin, to carry out a two-day practical teaching and red education activity. The classroom teaching was moved from the classroom to the ancient street of Nanxi, to the sharing session of Nanxi District Media Center, to the former residence of Zhu De, and to the Yangtze River. School and local joint efforts to cultivate new media talents

The practical teaching activities were supported by the school and local government departments. The university made a lot of preparatory work for this practical teaching trip. The teaching team contacted the Office of the Leading Group for the Promotion of Nanxi Construction of Yibin High Vocational Park and the Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau of Nanxi District, Yibin City before departure.

Under the 37 degree heat, the students wore thick Hanboks and repeatedly cooperated with the photographer, sweating without complaint. After the 3 hours of shooting, the students sighed: "The original short cultural tourism video was shot like this, it was not easy", "My The hanbok has turned into a sweat suit" ...... personally participated and witnessed the production process of professional cultural tourism short video, which greatly enhanced the professional quality and comprehensive ability of the students and fully released the vitality and kinetic energy of practical teaching.

The Yibin campus is an integrated science and practical construction of fine courses

At present, the school has entered a new stage of collaborative development of one school and two districts. Through this teaching activity, students gained a deeper understanding of the planning and construction of the new campus. The advanced teaching equipment, perfect logistic support and beautiful campus environment all left a good impression on the students and teachers.

In order to help students absorb and understand the content of the previous day's observation and complete the unification of practice and theory, the teaching team repeatedly polished the lecture content, combined with the students' personal experience of the case, and explained in detail the planning ideas and shooting techniques of cultural and tourism short video, further guiding students to create practice. The teaching team also invited Yu Nan, deputy director of Nanxi District Integrated Media Center, to bring a sharing session about the new media of government affairs to the students. Director Yu shared his experience in the field and introduced typical cases of new government media. At the end, Mr. Yu said, "Keeping the righteousness and innovation, telling the good Chinese story, writing the glory of the new era" is not only the direction of the new government media, but also the mission of the students of online media.

Visit to the former residence of the great man, let education move into the heart 

Under the arrangement of Nanxi Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, the students and teachers went to the former residence of Zhu De for a visit to receive education on revolutionary traditions. Under the guidance of the interpreter, through a piece of objects, paintings and sculptures, the students learned the story of Comrade Zhu De's ideological transformation to seek the party for thousands of miles and felt the fervor and faith of the Founding Fathers in the past. Infected by the spirit of Comrade Zhu De, the party members, teachers and students recited the oath of party membership and recalled the initial heart of party membership.

In the heat of the day, the teaching team also went to the First Bay of Yangtze River scenic spot for photography. The magnificent scenery of the river stretched for a few hours, and the students were shocked.

In this practical training, students learned rich professional knowledge, saw the beauty of the motherland's mountains and rivers, and felt the vigorous power of the red spirit. The teaching team of "New Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Culture and Tourism" will continue to explore new ideas and modes of combining practical teaching and social practice, adhere to the student-centered approach, implement the four returns, actively adapt, actively seek changes, and place practical teaching in a more important position in education and teaching.
