Gingko College of Hospitality Management Successfully Held the First Thailand Day

The First Thailand Day was held by Gingko College of Hospitality Management from Dec. 16^th to 17^th , 2021. Zhang Shuzhen, Consul General, Wan Kepeng, Consul of Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu, and Lin Meijiong, the Director of Chengdu Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand, attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony online of the university-level cooperation agreement between Naresuan University and Gingko College.

This event had many highlights: Three Thai universities that have established friendly cooperation with Gingko College -- Prince of Songkla University, National Institute of Development Administration, and Naresuan University. They conducted online tourism English courses and held information session for study abroad programs. In addition, Chengdu Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand shared the theme event "Amazing Thailand - Explore the real Thailand" and the chef of "Thai Taste" in Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu taught people how to cook Thai food.

The holding of the First Thailand Day has played a positive role for all teachers and students to experience the excellent academic level and rich cultural charm of Thailand without going abroad, and to expand the forms of international communication for the school.  

The two-day Thailand Day enables the teachers and students of Gingko College to experience Thai education, culture and tourism in an all-round way, which helps the college to further deepen the cooperation with Thai universities and improve the level of school running from international vision.
