Recently, the first Golden Lotus Famous Brand Selection Method of Chengdu Tourism and Accommodation Industry Association was officially released and implemented. As one of the main drafting units of this method, Gingko College of Hospitality Management has appointed five teachers from the department of hotel management to participate in the formulation and approval of the selection method of Golden Lotus famous brand system.
Under the guidance of Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broad cast-TV and Tourism, the special committees of academic and standardization construction, innovation and quality, education and training, food culture, and theme hotel and cultural, creative and commodity from Chengdu Tourism and Accommodation Industry Association jointly established and launched the Golden Lotus famous brand system of Chengdu tourism and accommodation industry, which includes famous stores, famous banquets, famous masters, famous stars and famous products. In view of the current situation and development trend of hotel industry standard evaluation, in the process of formulation, five teachers from Gingko College have fully learned from the selection standards and implementation background of relevant competitions all over the country, through a large number of interviews, research, soliciting opinions, summarizing and refining in the tourism hotel industry, and finally form the specific standards and supplementary provisions including general rules, application conditions, selection procedures, incentive policies, as well as dynamic management, which have a good guiding role for Chengdu to carry out relevant work in an all-round way in the next step.
Comprehensively improving the service quality of Chengdu’s tourism and accommodation industry, transforming and upgrading, shaping the brand and setting up the benchmark are the strategic tasks to promote the brand construction and development of Chengdu’s “Three Cities and Three Capitals”. Under this background, the official release and implementation of the first Golden Lotus brand selection method of Chengdu Tourism and Accommodation Industry Association will provide Chengdu Tourism and Accommodation Industry Association and the industry with a perfect industry brand evaluation system, which plays a guiding and boosting role in helping the high-quality development of the industry and creating the brand image of Chengdu tourism and accommodation industry. At the same time, it also highlights the solid professional skills and high industrial practice ability of the teachers from Gingko College, which will play a positive role in further promoting the construction of characteristic discipline system, professional talent training and the deep integration of schools and enterprises.
