Gingko College was Invited to Attend the Annual Forum "Frontiers of Tourism Research" in 2022

On October 21, 2022, the establishment ceremony of "China Tourism Education Cooperation Alliance" and the first annual forum of "Frontiers of Tourism Research", jointly initiated by the University of Macau, Fudan University, Nankai University and Sun Yat-sen University, were held online and offline in the University of Macau. The Tourism Management Department of Ginkgo College of Hospitailty Management was invited to participate in this annual forum online. Jia Rong, dean of the department, delivered a speech at the sub-forum of "High-quality Development and Construction of Tourism Education".

With the theme of "Tourism Plus", the forum aims to study and promote "tourism plus" and "tourism plus", so as to promote the cross-boundary integration of tourism and other industries, and promote the development of quality tourism education in the new era. More than 250 scholars in the field of tourism management, management of cultural and tourism industry and teachers and students from universities attended the forum. Li Weinong, Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao Special Administrative Region, Wen Qihua, Director of Macau Tourism Administration, Dai Bin, President of China Tourism Academy, Qian Jiannong, Chairman of Fosun Tourism and Culture Group, Song Yonghua, President of University of Macau, Xu Hong, Dean of School of Tourism and Service of Nankai University, Professor Liu Jingyan of School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University, and Wang Sha, Associate Professor of Department of Tourism of Fudan University and other leaders and experts attended the forum.
