Gingko College Held 2020 Commendation Conference: 2021 Chinese New Year Cloud Party

On January 15, 2021, 2021 Spring Festival Cloud Annual Meeting was held in Ginkgo Pavilion. All members of the Party and Political Leadership of the College attended the meeting, and all faculty and logistics group employees participated in the Cloud Annual Meeting via the Internet.

Liu Wukang, Gingko College Party Secretary, expressed gratitude to all the faculty and family members who worked hard in various positions of the College on behalf of the Party and Government Leadership of the College, and comprehensively summarized the College's work in 2020 and looked forward to the development of the College in 2021.

He said that 2020 is a special year. Our faculty and staff have taken the wisdom and responsibility of the "Ginkgo Spirit" into consideration for the outstanding completion of the tasks; the prosperous year of the struggling with COVID-19 shows the dedication and pride of the whole staff to overcome difficulties! In 2020, we successfully transferred to the College and opened a new era of Independent College; the Yibin Campus and teaching hotel were officially put into use, which means "One College, two districts" has made a new annotation for improving the quality and efficiency of the College. He said that 2020 will condense the hard work of our faculty and staff, and write down the integrity and innovation of every Ginkgo staff. In 2021, we will thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, in the new stage of development. And we will implement the new development concept, integrate into the new development pattern, follow the College Philosophy of "Achieve Students and Serve the Society", practice the College Motto of "Service Development, Knowledge and Action", strengthen the "College Spirit", "Style of Study" and "Teaching Style". Guided by the overall plan of education evaluation reform in the new era, we will center on the modern service industry mainly supported by modern science and technology, especially information network technology. Meanwhile, highlighting the characteristics of hotel management, we are looking forward to a better life, focusing on high-quality life, and practicing the five functions of universities. For the short-term goal of "becoming one of the three or five characteristic schools mentioned by Governor Luo" put forward by the Board of Directors of the College, we go all out, we go hand in hand, we create and share together!

The holding of the Spring Festival Cloud Annual Meeting has further shortened the distance between the College and the faculty, strengthened the cohesion, centripetal force and sense of belonging of the College, and promoted a healthy, civilized and positive campus culture.
