The Invitation-Only General Manager Round-Table Seminar was Hosted by Yinxing

On September 25, 2019, the Invitation-Only General Manager (GM) Round-Table Seminar was hosted by Yinxing at Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Chengdu.This seminar is undertaken by Department of Hotel Management.

Dr. Fu Jing introduced the knowledge framework of the internationalcurriculum and the path to be implemented in teaching hotel at Yibin training base of industry-school-research.

Then, Mr.Richard Adie, the Strategic Consultant to Gingko Education Group and GM of Cornell’s Statler Hotel, initiated the dialogues on the theme of “Preparing the Next Generation of Hotel Professionals”.GMs from a dozen of international hotel brands such as the Temple House, St. Regis, Hilton, Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Sofitel, W Hotel conductedpleasant discussions with Yinxing teaching faculty on how hotel schools can work seamlessly with the industry to nurture students’ sense of pride in work and how to cultivate innovative management talents that meet international standards and Chinese characteristics.

This Round-Table Seminar aims to deepen the understanding of industry’s trend and needs, broaden the horizon of teaching faculty and curriculum reform, and pave the way to Yinxing’s internationalization and professionalism through dialogue with industry executives.
