A Visit from Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia

On 17 September,Mr. Raffael H•STANGL, the Asian Representative of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (Blue Mountains), Australia, visited Yinxing. Mr. Wang Junjie, ActingDirector of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and Zhang Yanqi, programmanager of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, received the guests and held the meeting. Wang Junjie expressed warm welcome to Mr.Raffael H•STANGL and his team and gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of Yinxing and the major of hotelmanagement ofYinxing. Mr. Raffael H•STANGL expressed his gratitude for the reception and briefly introduced Blue Mountains and its partnership in China. Following the cooperation conceptof mutual consultation, co-construction and sharing, the two parties heldin-depth discussions on the 3+0.9 graduate program, short-term exchange program for teachers and students. Through communications and discussions, the two parties have initially reached an intention to jointly build a platform for friendly exchanges and cooperation. Brief introduction of Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School: Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) was established in 1991. It is located in the famous tourist area on the southeast coast of Australia, the town of Lula, the center of the Blue Mountains Scenic World Heritage Site, and Sydney, Australia's largest city. Among them, the Blue Mountains Scenic Area is part of Sydney and is one of the most famous tourist attractions in New South Wales. BMIHMS is Australia's oldest boarding hotel management school. It is globally renowned for its high-quality education and training in the professional field, ranking the first place in Australia and Asia-Pacific region (Taylor Nelson Sofres Survey2010 and 2013). The courses taught are fully accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) and are recognized worldwide.
