This series of activities is organized by the Department of Tourism Management and is divided into "intangible heritage lecture hall", "intangible heritage" theme forum, intangible cultural heritage "lecture, performance, the exhibition", "intangible cultural heritage" research trip and other links.

50.jpgAt the opening ceremony, Fu Jing, the Deputy Dean of the College, pointed out that the intangible cultural heritage, as one of the representatives of my country's brilliant culture, embodies the wisdom of predecessors, and is a carrier of a special way of thinking full of deep human emotions. The inheritance of intangible cultural heritage projects is inseparable from the love and contribution of intangible cultural inheritors, and it is also inseparable from the inheritance and development of the younger generation. It is hoped that teachers and students can learn about intangible heritage knowledge and contribute to the inheritance of excellent Chinese culture through this activity.

In the "Intangible Heritage Lecture Hall", Mr Zhou Kai, the cultural consultant of Chengdu Nongyuan Culture Communication Co., Ltd., brought a lecture on "The Practical Value of Traditional Culture Nowadays-Taking Intangible Heritage as an Example" to the students. He analyzed the past and present, combining the intangible cultural heritage and current popular elements to show everyone the ideal state of sharing the beauty of culture, art and products.

The "intangible heritage" research trip was carried out in Zhanqi Village, one of the first batch of National Rural Tourism Key Villages. Students from the Department of Tourism Management of the College lead the fourth-grade students of Yizhou Primary School in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone as research instructors to appreciate the original local characteristics of Chengdu and experience agricultural tourism that contains the agricultural civilization of Western Sichuan.

Zhang Rong, a student from the Ginkgo Culture and Tourism Research Studio, explained 10 intangible cultural heritage tourism routes in Sichuan to teachers and students; the non-genetic inheritors presented four intangible cultural heritage projects such as Kangding yoyo, face-changing, martial arts, and Tai Chi. The teachers and students brought a feast of audio-visual culture; in the intangible cultural and creative market, more than 20 intangible cultural projects with Sichuan characteristics were displayed. The students enthusiastically asked the inheritors of the intangible cultural projects. And the students personally participated and experienced the intangible cultural heritage project.

The "Intangible Heritage" theme forum invited Song Qing, Deputy Director of the Advisory Committee of the Research Branch of Sichuan Tourism Association, and the representatives of teachers and students from the Department of Tourism Management to discuss the theme of "Intangible Heritage Project Research Tourism Management and Services".
